who we are
In June 2006, Suburban Bible Church, located in Highland, Indiana, sent 120 members on a week long mission trip to serve families in New Orleans whose homes were devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Our work teams primarily gutted houses to help the hurricane victims begin the process of rebuilding their homes. Many of the volunteers on this trip were impacted so deeply by their experiences while serving the New Orleans community as a united Christian body, that two of our volunteers decided to establish a new ministry named, Agapé, Go! (Love in Action), to serve the needs of the Northwest Indiana community.
